James Grant Dolan

Hello, world! My name is James and I am your current Radio Station Manager. I am currently coming to the end of my third year of my PhD studying Pure Maths. I have also been involved in student radio in some capacity for the past 6 years with my formative years spent on the York airwaves over at URY.

I hope to use my position to expand our capacities as a student media group and open doors to exciting new opportunities such as outside broadcasts and trips to the big stations in the city. I also hope to help publishing bring back ‘The Sphinx’ newspaper in a limited print run.

You can find me either in the radio studio live on LGSM with my show, aptly named ‘This is Show’, or in my office in the adjacent Maths Department using what little time I have left on my thesis.
