Liverpool Varsity Postponed

Concerns surrounding the health and safety impacts of COVID-19 has led to the postponement of Varsity 2020 between UoL and JMU.

Varsity 2020 Statement from the University of Liverpool and John Moores Students’ Union (JMSU).

The number one priority for JMSU and University of Liverpool is always the health and well-being of our students and staff.

After careful consultation, regarding the health and safety of everyone at Varsity 2020 we have made the difficult decision to postpone Varsity on Sunday 15th March.

With the current concerns and uncertainty about COVID-19 virus, we felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented situation.

As the event has been postponed, we will be in contact with members and sports clubs with more information about next steps on moving forward, the varsity committee will be meeting next week to start planning the next date.
